This hurt. This, really, really, hurt.
To form the timber for the boneless range, we glue individual layers of veneer and form them in a vacuum over a buck.
This vinyl bag is what we put all the veneer in.
During the forming, a section of the buck gave way to the huge pressure that was placed upon it, and it collapsed, in turn causing the vacuum bag to shatter due to the rapid movement.
It made a deafening boom sound, and everything we had gluing up in the bag was destroyed.
